The Construction Manager will support our installers and electricians on installations from start to finish, ensuring a quality installation. The process will start by conducting a site visit, then reviewing drawings created by the drafters, assembling project specific parts lists, supporting the installers throughout the installation, and finally doing what it takes to ensure that we pass the inspection. Throughout this entire process, the Construction Manager would work with our Project Managers, Installers, and Electricians to make sure that we can provide a product that we can all be proud of.

Job Responsibilities

Here’s a list of duties:

  • Conduct Site Visits for new projects and complete the necessary documentation
  • Review structural, electrical, and solar design on plan sets to ensure a smooth installation
  • Put together job specific parts kits for installers and electricians
  • Manage warehouse inventory ensuring that we have the parts we need for upcoming installations
  • Assist installers and electricians in the field with items that they might need help with
  • Conduct Quality Control on Installations
  • Meet with inspectors and do what it takes to get everything approved
  • Oversea corrective actions when necessary and suggest systems which can prevent the need for future corrections.
  • Work closely with the Project Managers, electricians, and installers to effectively complete projects
  • Report any customer or employee concerns to the Owner Operator
  • Anticipate additional materials or tools that might be required to complete a specific project
  • Coordinate material ordering, scheduling, and delivery
  • Call in local orders when necessary
  • Find solutions to problems in the field as they arise
  • Implement a strong work ethic

  • Believe in quality, aesthetics, and exercise a strong attention to detail
  • Hold yourself and others to a high standard of quality
  • Respect others and be willing to work as a team
  • Use your excellent communication skills to communicate effectively with customers
  •  The Construction Manager should be able to provide feedback and ensure a quality installation in the field. That being said, the Construction Manager must have prior electrical experience and be comfortable inspecting work both on the ground and on the roof.
  • Prior electrical experience is required, solar experience is preferred.
